Charlie the Trash-Robot,

I’m excited to share my newest sculpture (01-09-2025) , created entirely from recycled eyeglass frames. What makes Charlie unique is that not a single piece was welded, soldered, or glued — every part is held together through pure balance and assembly.

This work is named after a young child, Charlie, whom had the same red glasses as in this statue and whom was full of joy and life. That encounter reminded me never to lose my sense of joy in life — and this sculpture carries that spirit forward.

Charlie is a celebration of playfulness, resilience, and finding new life in forgotten objects.
